The Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will work across large-scale enterprise data environments to ensure complete, accurate, and trusted data for the business. You will analyze complex datasets, investigate anomalies, validate historical information, and support data governance to strengthen the overall reliability of our data ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify discrepancies, trends, anomalies, and root-cause data issues.
- Perform historical data research to validate business logic, reconcile legacy data, and ensure long-term data accuracy and consistency.
- Write advanced SQL and Python scripts for data extraction, profiling, validation, automation, and analytical modeling.
- Support and validate data modeling activities, including dimensional modeling and warehouse structure reviews.
- Strengthen data quality through meticulous metadata documentation, validation of business definitions, and participation in data governance efforts.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytical insights using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or Excel.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and data-driven decisions.
What You Bring
- 4-5 years of progressive data analysis experience in enterprise or large-scale data environments.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and performance tuning.
- Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter) with experience building automated validation and analysis workflows.
- Proficiency with modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ELT/ETL processes, and dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake).
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mentality, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Nice to Have
Domain Knowledge
- Experience with finance-related data (payments, AR/AP, revenue, margin, cost analysis).
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, or warehouse operations.
- Exposure to transportation data, including carrier performance, fleet operations, and routing optimization.
Reporting & Advanced Analytics
- Experience with geospatial analytics or tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, Kepler.gl, or spatial extensions in BI tools.
- Background in geocoding, location-based analysis, route optimization, or spatial joins.
- Ability to build location-aware dashboards for logistics, transportation, or regional performance reporting.
- Industry-relevant BI certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Compensation
Base Salary: $95,000 - $120,000/yr
Equity: Participation in Dynatron’s Equity Incentive Plan
